• Day 1: Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh we shall greet the client and get them transferred to the hotel for check-in. Considering Leh’s high altitude, the first day is dedicated entirely to rest and acclimatization. In the evening, guests may enjoy a calm visit to Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountain ranges, followed by a leisurely walk through the Leh market. Overnight stay will be in Leh.
• Day 2: After breakfast the journey continues with a local sightseeing program covering some of Leh’s most iconic landmarks. The day includes a visit to the Hall of Fame Museum dedicated to the Indian Army, followed by a stop at Magnetic Hill, a fascinating geographical phenomenon. The tour then proceeds to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the scenic Sangam point, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Guests return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and rest. Overnight stay will be in Leh.
• Day 3: Post breakfast begins with an early drive to Nubra Valley via the world-renowned Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Upon reaching Nubra, guests will explore the beautiful village of Hunder, known for its cold desert and sand dunes. Here, optional activities such as a ride on the Bactrian (double-humped) camels can be arranged. Later, a visit to Diskit Monastery and the towering Maitreya Buddha statue allows time for peaceful reflection amidst Himalayan silence. Overnight stay will be arranged in Nubra Valley at a hotel or luxury camp, depending on the package.
• Day 4: After breakfast, guests travel from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake, one of the most breathtaking high-altitude lakes in the region. En route, the landscape transitions from rugged desert terrain to wide open Himalayan valleys. Upon reaching Pangong Lake, guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the lake’s shimmering waters, known for changing shades ranging from turquoise to deep blue depending on the time of day. The evening is free for relaxation, photography, or a peaceful lakeside walk. Overnight stay will be in Pangong.
• Day 5: Begins with the experience of a sunrise over Pangong Lake, a highlight for many travellers. After breakfast, the journey continues back to Leh via Chang La Pass, another high-altitude mountain pass. On the way, guests will visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its architectural resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, followed by a short visit to Shey Palace. Upon arrival in Leh, guests check into the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be in Leh.
• Day 6: Day at leisure day or additional sightseeing experience based on interest. Suggested visits include Hemis Monastery, Leh Palace, or cultural and shopping experiences at the local Tibetan market and cafés. This day offers time for relaxation and meaningful exploration at a comfortable pace. Overnight stay in Leh.
• Day 7: The final day, guests will be transferred to Leh Airport for their departure flight. The journey concludes with unforgettable memories of rugged landscapes, unique culture, pristine lakes, and the timeless Himalayan silence that defines Ladakh.
